Flomax is a drug-blocker of α1-adrenergic receptors. This remedy is an effective tool for the symptomatic medical care of benign prostatic hyperplasia.

The mechanism of action of the product:

Flomax selectively stops postsynaptic α1A-adrenergic receptors of the smooth muscles of the prostate gland, the neck of the bladder, the prostatic part of the urethra.
